FizzBrain's "Look in My Eyes" series featured on CBS's "60 Minutes" October 23, 2011! "Brilliant My son loves trains, they are his special interest. This App allows him to explore Trains on a whole new level, he gets to drive them! And he can do it anywhere anytime. Thanks so much to fizzbrain for making this possible. Just awesome."
- From parent review of Steam Train: Activity Center (Australia)
Do you have a young train lover in the house? Steam Train: Europe allows young people to become the engineers of their own steam trains while traveling to the famous sites of Europe!
This is not a competitive game, there are no points to win or lose. Instead, it is an engaging virtual world to play in and explore. Young engineers can play with their train from a distance, adjusting signal flags, lights, whistles, and bells while making fun deliveries to exotic locations such as the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Acropolis, Stonehenge, and others.
Or they can go inside the engine room to control the throttle, brakes, whistle, bell and more! Young engineers can go back to the tender in order to fill up with coal and water. Then they can turn to the front and shovel coal into the firebox, adjust oil in the displacement lubricator, regulate their steam pressure, adjust their water level, try different real train whistles, and shoo cows off the tracks. They may even take a detour by steam ship on their way to fix these well-known European landmarks.
A noncompetitive and highly engaging activity to entertain a budding train engineer!
NOTE: Includes extensive animation which may perform very slowly on older phones or older iPod touch devices.
